Ask questions

In the classroom, in the office, in life, we don’t ask enough questions.

I had a great conversation last night with someone I love very much, my sister.

As my wife and I sat at dinner, she asked me how I’m doing on my book. I think about it all of the time, and I’m am regularly reshaping my thoughts. I haven’t, though, written a single word in a few months.

I have not taken a break, rather I’m taking a step back to ask more questions.

How often do you take a step back to ask more questions?

I’m a big fan of doing. If you wait too long to find your perfect path, you will miss out on very valuable opportunities.

But it is ok to ask more questions.

It is ok to not know. It may make you uncomfortable to admit it – and this is ok – but asking questions is a vital quality for personal and professional growth.

Never, ever, ever, ever, ever be afraid to raise your hand. Rather, what you should be afraid of is not knowing.
